Pharmacology

The main objective of PCIM&H is to develop and publish pharmacopoeias and formularies of “Indian Medicine” and “Homoeopathy” for quality standards of ASU&H drugs. As an Apex laboratory, Commission is playing vital role to nurture and promote awareness on quality assurance of drugs/formulations of “Indian Medicine” and “Homoeopathy” and drug research on ASU&H drugs. To accomplish above objectives, the role of pharmacology section is to develop laboratory for carry out pharmacological studies on ASU&H drugs.

Activities

Pharmacological screening of ASU&H drugs
Establishment and maintaining of animal house
In silico pharmacological studies on constituents of ASU&H drugs
Research & Development for drugs used in Indian systems of medicine and publishing its related scientific information
Any other technical and non-technical works pertaining to pharmacology
